I have actually never played Cribbage before yesterday so first off I had to familarise myself with the rules. The in game help explains them very well and after a few minutes I had a good idea about what I was doing.
The game has many options and you can customise it to your taste. The available options for you to change are:
Number of hands playedWho deals each hand - Winner, Loser etc
Difficulty Setting
Muggins - On/Off - This allows a player to claim points that their opponents fail to.
Game Theme - Card colour, Table colour and lots more!
At first glance this game did seem difficult to get the hang of but prehaps that was just because I'm new to Cribbage. After a while I started to get into it and began to enjoy the game. You get a useful breakdown at the end of the first couple of rounds to help you understand the game better and figure out exactly what you are doing!
It does get quite exciting/frustrating at the same time and I eventually became immersed in the game trying to move my little pin across the board or "crib" before the computer. I have yet to win a game though even on the easy setting...
Overall I give this game 3.5/5 stars. I did enjoy it but I don't think it's a game I will be keeping for long however if Cribbage is your game then I'm sure it won't disappoint!
